We offer the following services to our customers:

PRINTING

We currently have two high-speed printers each capable of printing up to 116 pages per minute. These printers are used for documents to be mailed and not general printing.

FOLDING AND INSERTING

The State Central Mail Operations currently has inserters that fold letters, inserts them into envelopes and seals the envelope. We can insert up to six items (combination of pages, pre-folded inserts and reply envelope) into a standard #10 envelope or into a 6 1/2" by 9 1/2" envelope.

NOTE: The State Central Mail Operations discontinued its folding and tabbing service because it costs more to fold and tab a mail piece than to fold and insert it into an envelope, even when considering the cost of the envelope.

There are numerous U.S. Postal Service regulations and guidelines that must be followed to send your mail and receive postal discounts. ADDRESS SERVICES

Correct addresses are critical for the post office to deliver your mail. In 2004, the Christensen Company conducted a study of Undeliverable as Addressed (UAA) mail. Of the undeliverable mail, they found that 75.8% was move-related and 13.6% was missing the recipient, had an illegible address, the recipient was deceased or the mail was unclaimed. The remaining did not have or used the incorrect street, city, state or zip code. This represented more than 9.7 billion pieces of UAA mail at a cost of more than $1.8 billion.

We have the capability to verify that your addresses are correct, down to the point that the address exists and receives mail. The same system can print your addresses onto a postcard in a sorted zip code sequence. This gives the sending agency the maximum postage discount possible.
